According to public relations and international affairs of SATBA, based on the announcement of licenses and permits office, a joint meeting was held to solve the problems of construction license and power purchase agreement holders in Markazi, Hamedan and Lorestan provinces. This meeting was held with the presence of SATBA experts, deputy coordinator of Bakhtar Regional Electric Company and a group of managers and experts from Bakhtar Regional Electric Company, Electricity Distribution Companies of Markazi, Hamedan and Lorestan provinces, and Investment Services Center of Markazi Province.
The report adds that at the beginning of the meeting, the deputy coordinator of Bakhtar Regional Electric Company noted the importance of developing renewable and clean power plants in the country. He also mentioned that Hamedan province has become the hub of solar power plants in Iran due to the number of operated power plants. The representative of Investment Services Center of Markazi Province said that currently 135 million U.S. dollar has been attracted from the Netherlands, and about 800 hectares of land has been assigned to solar power plants investors in Markazi province.
Subsequently, SATBA experts presented a brief report of renewable and clean power plants of SATBA activities, the process of investment in this field, the process of issuing, controlling, extending and revoking construction permits. They also discussed and exchanged views on the status of construction licenses and guaranteed power purchase agreement from renewable and clean power plants in Markazi, Hamedan and Lorestan provinces with managers and experts of electricity companies.
