According to public relations and international affairs of SATBA, 520 solar systems each with the capacity of 5 kW were constructed through PPA contract by the goodwill fundraising program of the Mahtab Sazeh Sazan Iranian Company, affiliated to Mahtab Gostar Group. The solar systems were installed during 90 days and are going to be operated from 15th to 20th March 2019. They will be connected to the country's electricity grid.
The report adds that the development of solar power plants in the rural and deprived areas of Iran is continuing. The target of such development is eliminating the deprivation, job creation, creating the infrastructure for further development by having access to electricity in deprived and less developed regions of the country.
According to the report, the scheduling of the solar systems (90 days) was due to the fact that there was a good coordination between SATBA, Southern Kerman Electricity Distribution Company, goodwill foundation of Mahtab Company, Imam Khomeini Relief Committee of Kerman Province and the local contractors.
