At the same time of government week, the construction of 61.2 MW wind power plant was commenced in Qazvin province and near village of Siahpoosh. Based on the public relations report of SATBA, the power plant and its dedicated electrical post will be in operation with 100 million dollar investment till the end of the year (up to March 2018). There are 18 direct drive wind turbines in this wind farm. A wind turbine has a capacity rating of 3.4 MW that hub height and rotor diameters are 83.5 and 108 meters, respectively. The 100 million dollar project is financed by Cooperative Development Bank (Tose'e Ta'avon Bank) of Iran that 70% is done through the National Development Fund of Iran and 30% of the company's equity. It is worth mentioning that the power plant has power purchase contract with SATBA and it is predicted the annual energy production is more than 216 million kWh.
